The Medical Manpower Department has overall responsibility for the recruitment and selection of all non-consultant hospital doctors which are recruited twice a year in January and July on www.hse.ie. In addition the department recruits locum consultant staff and and works in conjuction with the Public Appointments Commisson www.publicjobs.ie on permanent consultant appointments.
